Miss Ukraine 2010 Came to the Throne

Last weekend there was a great event in the world of Ukrainian beauty, the final “Miss Ukraine 2010” contest that took place in the central concert-hall of the capital, Palace “Ukraine”. The competition was held on September 4th and there were a lot of celebrity guests came to Ukraine to see the best of local beauties. The head of jury was famous Italian actress Ornella Muti. The other special guest star in jury was Jean-Claude Van Damme.
The show was overfilled with gorgeous women and not only the participants were among them. Famous Ukrainian singers Vera Brezhneva, Iryna Bylik and Olga Gorbachova. The only man sang that night in Palace “Ukraine” was Chris Norman. The presenter of the show was Ivan Urgant, who also presented Eurovision 2009 in Russia. He asked models tricky questions to let them show the other side of their stunning beauty, the beauty of their thoughts and characters. 
The winner is 21 years old Catherine Zakharchenko from Odessa. Jean-Claude Van Damme offered her to screen in his new film that will be shot in Romania this year. This was one of her childhood dreams to star in a film of Hollywood producer. Also Catherine plans to represent Ukraine in the global beauty contest “Miss World 2010” in China.
